This is my contribution to OurAlphabet. As a bisexual, I could easily tell people about how no one believes me when I say I am bi, or how they tell me that I’m only that way when I’m drunk (lies), or that since my sexual history consists of men, that I am not a real bisexual. But at least I still have a 50/50 chance of getting married legally in any state I choose.
My sister, unfortunately does not have that chance. And I refuse to abide by that for another second. I won’t get married until my sister can.
